I am offering beginning and intermediate Irish whistle and flute lessons. Focused on: learning by ear (but dots provided), intonation, tone, phrasing, ornamentation, variations and repertoire. I've been teaching Irish flute and whistle for a while. I am on the faculty of the Washington Conservatory of Music and also give private flute and whistle lessons. I hold a 2013 TTCT Teaching Diploma by Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Dublin). And I love sharing my love for the music and the tunes and technique with others. Of course "in person" would be wonderful, but since that's not an option at the moment, I teach on Zoom, Skype and Facetime.
